This summer, Kamehameha Schools helped 71 college students find internship positions with 50 companies across the state through its Kapili ʻOihana Internship Program. Interns had the opportunity to apply academic experience in a real world environment. The students also had the opportunity to building a network of professional contacts which will help them secure jobs in the future.
KS' Career and Post-High Counseling and Guidance team celebrated the success of this year's program with interns, at a recent hōʻike held at KS Kapālama’s Kaʻiwakīloumoku Hawaiian Cultural Center.
KS photographer Michael Young captured the highlights of the event in the photos below. If your division or campus has pics to share, please send them along with background information and captions to ksonline@ksbe.edu.
