On Friday, August 24, Kawaiaha‘o Plaza staff members celebrated the dedicated service of 104 members of the Kamehameha Schools employee ‘ohana from the Office of the CEO, Administration, Community Relations and Communications, Endowment, Finance and Facilities, Legal, Strategic Planning and Implementation, and Community Education and Implementation groups.
Before honoring service award recipients, chief executive officer Dee Jay Mailer recognized all KP staffers for their acts of giving over the past year, including helping with KP morning gatherings and Mālama Mala, or garden care day.
Each member of the KS executive leadership team then took the stage for a few minutes to mahalo their employees for their years of service to Pauahi’s Legacy.
Kawaiahao Plaza employees are called to the courtyard for the Service Awards program.
Neil Hannahs served as the master of ceremonies and kept everyone entertained.
Employees were happy to be able to celebrate their co-workers years of service.
Service awardees Aileen Ogomori, Karlette Ikemoto and Patti Rabacal. Ikemoto topped the list with 40 years of service.
The presentation of Service Awards was made by groups. The is the Strategic Planning & Implementation/Community Education & Implementation Group with VP Chris Pating.
