"We know the coronavirus pandemic has had a negative effect on many families in our communities. Some families may not be able to afford all the new school supplies that their children need," said Representative Lisa Kitagawa (D-48, Kāneʻohe, Kahaluʻu, Waiāhole). "It is also difficult for teachers to spend their own money to provide supplies. The goal is to make sure our teachers have the necessary supplies to teach and our keiki have the needed tools to learn."
With sidewalk sales and special promotions throughout Windward Mall’s more than 110 retailers and eateries all weekend long, the community is invited to participate in a special gift with purchase. Spend $100 or more in same-day receipts and receive a $15 restaurant gift card. For more information, visit www.windwardmall.com.
