Windward Mall Welcomes Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats to the Center in Time for a Treat During Holidays

Windward Mall is pleased to welcome Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats to the Center. Known for its ube ice cream and handmade halo-halos, Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats will expand its menu options at its newest location on the second floor of the Center above the Pā‘ina Ko‘olau Food Court. It opened on Nov. 19.

“We are excited to welcome Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats to Windward Mall just in time for the holiday season,” said Cesar Topacio, general manager of Windward Mall. “With its popular desserts and new offerings coming exclusively to our location, we are confident that our Kāne‘ohe community will love the Center’s newest shop.”

Magnolia Ice Cream & Treats offers a variety of ice cream and specially crafted desserts in flavors like macapuno ube, mais queso, langka, and more. Its menu also includes a variety of milkshakes and different kinds of halo-halo. A halo-halo is like an upside down shave ice with fruit toppings on the bottom and an ice cream scoop on top.

“We are so excited to unveil new offerings that our long-time customers may not expect, but definitely fall right in line with the Magnolia brand, which has always been a blend of Asian and Pacific Islander flavors,” says Bryan Robello-Gazmen, the operations manager for Magnolia Ice Cream and Treats’ six Hawai‘i stores.
