Windward Mall Hosts the 5th Annual Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival by HIMELE™ on Saturday, June 11

Windward Mall is hosting the 5th Annual Hawaiian Steel Guitar Festival in Center Court by HIMELE™ on Saturday, June 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The ho‘olaule‘a promotes and perpetuates Hawaiian music, culture and the Hawaiian steel guitar with performances, singing, hula, and hands-on demonstrations. The event will also be livestreamed on Facebook and YouTube.

The community is invited to soak in live performances from O‘ahu’s favorite steel guitar masters including Alan Akaka, Jeff Au Hoy, Steve Cheney, Bobby Ingano, Kapono Lopes, Greg Sardinha, and Joseph Zayac. The event will also showcase Ke Kula Mele Hawai‘i NextGen steel guitarists Tai & Joey Misailidais, Enosa & Mālie Lyman and Pono Fenandez.
