2019 Workplace Giving Fundraisers

Kawaiaha‘o Plaza, KS Kapālama and KS Maui staffers held fundraising events during our recent Workplace Giving campaign to raise additional donations for our recipient organizations:  the Pauahi Foundation, Aloha United Way and the Hawaiian Way Fund. So far the events have raised more than $6,200 (funds are still rolling in). KSK fundraisers included a Nā Limahana ‘o Kapālama Cookbook, and KSM sold slipper passes, luggage tags and more!  Following is a glimpse at the Kawaiaha‘o Plaza campaign kickoff celebration featuring various fundraisers and representatives from the campaign’s recipient organizations.

Early Learning Initiatives Advisor Krys Yadao, Hi‘ialo Group Administrative Coordinator Raquel Aki, and investment analysts Shayne Wolfe and Nikki Oka staffed their groups’ fundraising booth which included “mahalograms” and eco-friendly metal straws.




The Kaiona Café coffee crew included Strategy and Transformation staffers: Jeannin Jeremiah, Lauren Nahme, Dora Nakafuji, Kristina-Marie Kornegay, Su Chuen Foo, Wendy Kekahio and Fatima O’Keefe. The fundraiser, sponsored by the CEO, Advancement, Communications, Internal Audit, Strategy and Transformation and Trustees offices also included ‘ono breakfast eats.




Strategy and Transformation Administrative Coordinator Ranessa Asuncion, Office of the CEO Senior Administrative Assistant Diedre Maika and Assistant to the CEO Coleen Ka‘anehe purchase breakfast bentos at the Kaiona Café.

Hawai‘i Fi-Do Service Dogs Puppy Raiser Sheree Loui and canine pal Jane share some aloha with KP staffers Jessica Calilao, Shanell Ingano, Gailyn Ahuna-Lum, Delilah Irvine and Rie Jitchaku (crouching). Fi-Do is an Aloha United Way recipient organization.
