2019 Maui Island Service Awards

The Kamehameha Schools Maui Island ‘ohana gathered to honor 40 of its campus and community staff members celebrating up to 25 years of service to Pauahi’s legacy! The island’s Service Award day included lunch at Keʻeaumokupāpaʻiaheahe Dining Hall, entertainment and plenty of launa!

Twenty-year honoree Lyla Eldredge – ES kumu, and 25-year honoree Stacey Eaton – Community Engagement and Resources Senior Administrative Assistant.




Fifteen-year honorees: Front – Rama Camarillo, Kanani Franco, Debbie Kato, Ronnelle Suda, Jay Paa, Kevin O'Brien and Michael Oliver. Back – Kaleonani Gapero, Camille Romero, Kathleen Frampton, Kapulani Antonio, Kalena Laepaʻa, Kamanuena Medeiros, Mandy Sensano, Sunny Ferreira-Kim, Kapika Sanchez and Cheryl Wicklund.




Ten-year honorees: Kitchen Utility Worker Tammy Isagawa, Maui Campus Admissions Program Liaison Sheleen Quisquirin, and CE&R Regional Project Manager Keala Kaopuiki-Santos.




Five-year honorees: KSM MS PE Kumu Nyles Sakuma, MS Administrative Coordinator Kathy Kanemitsu, HS Counselor Malorie Chong, ES Kumu Irma Kalehuawehe, and Community Engagement and Resources Project Analyst Jonathan Stenger.




Popular Maui entertainer and radio personality Kathy Collins entertained attendees with her “Tita” stories.




KSM MS Christian Education Kumu Kanani Franco, leads all in singing the KS alma mater, “Sons of Hawai‘i.”
