Coach Boro is entering his 7th year of coaching. He started his coaching career in 2014 at Toledo High School (Toledo, OR). He coached Menʻs Varsity Football, Basketball, & Baseball for four years. The Toledo Boomers earned their way to multiple playoff berths in all three sports, but the most impressive achievement belonged to the Menʻs Varsity Basketball team; the Boomers were 4-time defending Sunset Conference Champions & earned their way to the 2015 OSAA 2A State Championship game. Coach Boro moved to Richmond, CA in 2018 & went on to become the Menʻs Varisty Basketball Head Coach at Aspire Richmond California College Preparatory Academy in 2019.
Coach Boro always dreamed of returning to his alma mater (KS Maui, 2009) someday to be the next High School Choral Director & hopefully be involved with the athletic department in a coaching capacity. In 2020, that dream was realized in the classroom & in 2021, he began his coaching career with the KS Maui football & basketball programs.
