Discover your artistic voice!

Art grows the heart and the imagination so that our science, technology, engineering, and math will reflect what is best in us. Kamehameha Schools Maui (KSM) has placed a high priority on active engagement of our students in the appreciation, observation, and creation of art. We value experience with art not primarily for the practical benefits, but for the insight, satisfaction and enjoyment it can add to our students’ lives and perspectives. From kindergarten to grade 12, KSM haumāna have the arts integrated into their curriculum.

The quality of the Arts Program has been recognized at the local and national levels, with our students receiving numerous awards. In addition, students are able to showcase their talent and products in annual Student Art Exhibitions. Our accomplished art faculty is dedicated to fostering the artistic talents in all the students they serve.

Performing arts

Student involvement in performing arts at all levels is a cornerstone of the KSM experience. Performing arts builds poise and confidence in our students, allowing them to shine in the public spotlight.
