Calvin P. Mann

Planning and Development Director

Calvin Mann oversees the planning and development of commercial and residential projects for Kamehameha Schools lands in Hawai‘i Kai and Waiawa—approximately over 2,000 acres.  

Prior to joining the KS ‘ohana in August 2020, Calvin served as the Project CEO for various Ward Village residential projects totaling over $500 million. His responsibilities included managing project pro formas, obtaining development entitlements and permits, formulating sales and marketing strategies, leading design teams through project programming and subsequent design milestones, project financing, construction, delivery and closeout.

His 25-plus year work history also includes various leadership roles at SSFM International, Castle & Cooke Homes Hawai‘i, Inc., and Moloka‘i Ranch, Ltd.

Calvin is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute and a Competent Communicator from the Toastmasters International, as well as a licensed Real Estate Agent in the state of Hawai‘i. He is also a board member for Building Industry Association of Hawai‘i (BIA).

A graduate of KS Kapālama, Calvin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University and a Master of Business Administration from Hawai‘i Pacific University.

In his spare time, Calvin enjoys golfing, cooking, and creating lasting memories with his ‘ohana. He also serves as a mentor to high school students as part of KS’ Launa ‘Ike Program.
