Real Estate Manager
Jennifer Viriato is responsible for managing the development, planning and implementation of short- and long-term strategies to optimize the performance of Kamehameha Schools’ $3.7 billion commercial real estate portfolio. She also manages a team of analysts in providing financial analysis and reporting across all development projects, initiatives, and transactions.
Prior to her current role as Real Estate Manager, Jennifer served as a senior analyst responsible for analytical support to inform portfolio-level investment strategy, master planning and development projects, and transactions.
Her past experience includes working as a Senior Investment Associate in real estate for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Investment Management Company (MITIMCo). While at the Cambridge-based university, she led the financial analysis of the multibillion dollar Kendall Square Initiative project, a complex multi-phase 1.8 million square foot mixed-use development. She also managed development of key infrastructure in Kendall Square, activation of two acres of open space on MIT’s campus, community outreach activities in partnership with local non-profits, and a major successful acquisition bid.
Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture with a minor in City Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT’s Center for Real Estate.
A die-hard foodie, Jennifer also enjoys painting, graphic design, tennis, being outdoors, and learning Portuguese.
