
Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Finance
Collin Hoo is responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of strategies to optimize the performance of Kamehameha Schools’ real estate portfolio, managing a team of associates who provide financial analysis and reporting across diverse market areas and property types.
Previously, Collin served as Vice President of Portfolio Management at Trinity Investments, a private equity hotel investment firm with a $5.5 billion portfolio. In that role, he oversaw cash flow and capital management, coordinated between investors and property managers to drive investment performance, and managed companywide valuations and portfolio analytics. He also led acquisition underwriting and development modeling for major hospitality and residential projects.
Prior to Trinity, Collin was part of Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services group in Los Angeles, where he advised global real estate owners, developers, and investors on valuation, due diligence, and financial strategy across more than $500 million of commercial real estate.
Hailing from Kaimukī, O‘ahu, Collin graduated from Punahou School and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration with a Real Estate Minor from Cornell University. He also serves on the boards of Pacific Housing Assistance Corporation and Hawai‘i Youth Symphony and actively volunteers in the Okinawan community through the Young Okinawans of Hawai‘i and Ukwanshin Kabudan.
