Kula Kiʻekiʻe HŌʻIKE 2024: Kū I Ka Mana

Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6:00pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Koaiʻa Gymnasium

For this year's Hōʻike, our high school will reprise the Hawaiian rock opera "Kū I Ka Mana", last on stage for Hōʻike 2018. This year’s show will feature a new style, and we’re excited to see how our haumāna will elevate this production the second time around.

Hōʻike 2024 takes place March 14 and 15 at 6pm in Koaiʻa Gym. Tickets are just $8 and are onsale now. Purchase tickets on GoFan.

"Kū I Ka Mana" is a Hawaiian language rock opera that dramatizes in music and dance the political intrigue behind the election of 1874 between King David Kalākaua and Queen Emma Rooke, after the death of King William Charles Lunalilo left the Kingdom of Hawai‘i without an appointed successor to the throne.
