Ka Ahulei o Kamehameha | Lei Draping

Location: Kamehameha Statue in Hilo

All are invited to participate in a lei draping ceremony honoring Pauahi's great-grandfather and the namesake of our kula, Kamehameha. 

KSAA East Hawaiʻi Region Māmalahoe hosts a lei draping ceremony every year at the Kamehameha Statue in Hilo in advance of the Kamehameha Day festivities on June 11. Adorning the statue with beautiful lei.
