Beginning of the Year Convocation 2023

Friday, August 18, 2023 at 8:30am - 9:30 am
Location: Koaiʻa Gymnasium

Join us as our kula celebrates our Beginning of the Year Convocation and the official launch of our annual Nā Kula spiritual theme.

This year, our theme is “Aloha Mua Mai Ke Akua, E Aloha Aku Kākou” - God First Loved, So We Shall Love. God’s manaʻo for us this year is to know that we are all nā mamo a Ke Akua Mana Loa. We learn - e aloha aku, e aloha mai (to love and to receive) because we learn from our Haku Lokomaikaʻi who is the source of aloha (1 Ioane 4:16). E holomua kākou a pau . Let us all move forward with great diligence (e aloha kekahi i kekahi) to love one another as God loves us.

Scripture:
1 Ioane 4:19, “Ke aloha aku nei kākou iā ia, no ka mea, ua aloha mua mai kēlā iā kākou,”
1 John 4:19 “We love because God loved us first.”

Manaʻo and mele will be shared as we take a moment to mahalo Ke Akua for the many blessings bestowed upon us.

ʻOhana and alumni are also invited to attend on a space availability basis.
