Our preparatory grades (K-8) celebrate the life and legacy of Mr. Charles Reed Bishop, who was responsible for developing the preparatory school at the Kamehameha School for Boys. Mr. Bishop was a beloved and dedicated husband of our Ke Aliʻi Pauahi, and made sure her final wishes were carried through, helping to bring her vision to life and honor her memory. For that, we take this moment to honor him each year, on or near the day of his birth, and say mahalo.
The Charles Reed Bishop Convocation is a closed event, but will be recorded and shared at a later time.
