Oct. 30, 2019

Contributed by Tiare Sanchez

ʻEhā has been studying both sides of the controversy on Maunakea to increase understanding and awareness about what is happening on the mauna. Kumu Oralani Koa came to speak to the haumāna about the geographical and cultural significance of Maunakea. Students also learned the oli and hula for Kaʻi Kūkulu, which is performed as a part of the daily protocol on Maunakea.
