Kamehameha Schools continues its global search for visionary leaders to fill the crucial elementary, middle and high school po‘o kumu (principal) roles at its Kapālama, O‘ahu campus.

Kuleana for these roles include fostering world-class Hawaiian culture-based learning communities, empowering educators through professional development, and elevating standards to create personalized student learning experiences with real‐world relevance.

The campus leaders will also embrace and apply the foundational values of Kamehameha Schools:  ‘ike kūpuna (ancestral experiences and knowledge), aloha ‘āina (a love for the land and its people), and kūpono (honorable character grounded in Hawaiian and Christian values).

To learn more about the skills, characteristics and experience desired for the poʻo kumu posts, please view the opportunity statement for the positions.
