The night was filled with the sound of ukulele’s and our haumānaʻs voices as they performed for an audience and shopper as Queen Kaʻahumanu Shopping Center Wednesday night and accompanied by the MS E mi mau class. The 8th-grade Ukulele class was accompanied by their fellow 7th-grade classmates as they played a 17 song set which included Christmas music and hula. The crowd enjoyed the performance and our haumāna played their instruments with joy and danced beautifully. Big mahalo to Kumu Camarillo & Kumu Hoewaa for their dedication to our haumāna. Their performance is a reflection of their love for the ukulele, hula, and educating our haumāna.
