TRAFFIC NOTICE: Audit of Authorized Vehicle Registration Tags conducted Apr. 5-9

Apr. 1, 2021

Contributed by Shaundor Chillingworth

Next week (April 5-9), campus security at the front gate will be conducting an audit of all vehicles entering campus to make sure that everyone has an approved, up-to-date authorized entry tag displayed in their vehicle. This is to ensure that only authorized vehicles and persons are allowed access to our campus.

All vehicles entering campus must have a valid vehicle registration tag displayed in the front windshield either on the mirror or on the front dash.

The audit will entail closing off one lane in the morning, instead of having two lanes. Mahalo in advance for your patience and understanding. Please expect that there may be a slight delay when entering campus in the morning.

Vehicles without approved and up-to-date tags will be instructed to contact Ella Yasso in our operations department to obtain the appropriate permit to display. Officers at the gate will be noting the vehicle and license plate so a follow-up can be conducted to ensure compliance.

If you do not have an authorized or up-to-date tag for your vehicle, please complete your registration here.

It has been wonderful having all of our students, faculty, and staff back on campus. Your assistance is greatly appreciated in this important protocol for the safety and security of our kula.

Mālama pono!
