Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.

Third Graders show their drawing skills in Art Class. The haumana researched and viewed images of a variety of insects. Next, they carefully sketched and colored their version of an insect. To enhance the drawings for display the artists attached the drawings to a colorful background paper that complemented their work. The project was completed in two class periods The results were sucessful, and eye catching.
