Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.
Ālia, meaning salt bed, is the latest mixed-use development in KS’ Kaiāulu ʻo Kakaʻako master planned community and is named after the salt flats that historically comprised the region.
