This morning, Kamehameha Schools Hawaiʻi junior Kalaninui Wilson and sophomore Ewalea Dameg joined KWXX's Loeka Longakit, a KSK alumus himself, in the KWXX studio to share more about Hōʻike 2019.

The cast members shared a bit about the story behind this year's Hōʻike, their characters (of which Loeka has a close connection to the KSH alumna who originally played Wilson's character, Kaʻahumanu), how to buy tickets, and even where they're heading later this summer.

Mahalo nui to KWXX for giving the school the opportunity to share the excitement of this year's opera. Tickets are on sale now! Buy them through 3/8 via the Pauahi Foundation, or in person from the high school

You can listen to the full interview on our Kamehameha Schools SoundCloud channel or in the player below.
