Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha Kapālama and our preschools and offices on Oʻahu have closed today, March 20, 2026, due to the storm. Our Maui Resource Center has also closed. These closures were made in response to current conditions, are aligned with government announcements and evacuation orders, and are intended to provide for the safety and well-being of our haumāna, ʻohana, and staff as heavy rains and flooding continue across the islands.
All other campuses, preschools, and offices on Kauaʻi, Maui Nui, and Hawaiʻi Island remain open today during standard business hours. Individual campuses and sites will continue sharing updates directly with their stakeholders regarding any changes to activities, events, or programs scheduled during this storm-impacted period.
We will continue to monitor conditions closely and remain in communication with emergency and government officials, and will provide updates as necessary. We encourage everyone to stay informed through state and local weather updates, prepare and mālama your ʻohana, and look out for one another and your communities during this storm.
E mālama pono.
