There are a number of exciting courses being offered this summer, including a mix of outside enrichment activities to classes that offer a space to explore an area of interest.

For current KSH students in grades 10-11 who may need more flexibility and aren't able to commit to a two or four week in-person schedule, there are a variety of mostly asynchronous digital courses offered in partnership with Global Online Academy (GOA) covering topic of interest like medical problem solving, personal finance and investing. Middle school haumāna (current grade 5,6, and 7 students) can choose a KS Digital Course - Tech Action for Kānaka Justice to give them a flexible learning opportunity using the same digital tools they'll be studying.

Visit hawaii.ksbe.edu/summer to learn more and see the full course catalog and schedule for courses. Email kauwela@ksbe.edu or call 808-982-0033 if there are any questions.

Students who do not currently attend KS should continue to apply via ksbe.edu/apply. Apply or register by February 15.

Preference is given to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law. More information on the application process and what you can expect is located on the site.

Papa ʻEkahi (current Kindergarten) haumāna can trace your culinary moʻokūʻauhau through the food your kūpuna ate, in their WHAT'S COOKING class.
