Prayer requests available for anyone needing support

Dec. 14, 2022

With the Grace of Akua – we shall overcome any and all challenges.

For her senior legacy project, class of 2023 haumāna Sarah Schubert decided to dive into assisting Kahu Kaunaloa Boshard in the structure of student activities such as Ekalasia, Chapel, etc. She has built and designed a web portal, Akā Ke Akua, that hosts things like ekalasia posts, scripture, and worship songs.

"One of my project's aspects is setting up a place where haumāna can submit prayer requests for things they would like to ask God for help with their lives and etc," shared Schubert.

The site to submit prayer request is hosted at https://akakeakua.wixsite.com/ekalasia/about. A link is also available on the main high school and KS Hawaiʻi webpages under the informations and resources sections. There are prayer request flyers with a QR code located around high school that will take students or staff to the site as well.

"You have the choice to stay anonymous and your name will not go beyond the eyes of Kahu," says Schubert.

Ke Ali‘i Pauahi’s deep faith in Ke Akua moved her to create a school for young Hawaiians, giving them the knowledge and skills to thrive in an ever-changing world. Along with that gift, she sought to share with our haumāna a foundation of Christian values to shape their character and guide their actions. Projects like Sarah's honor that vision and and Christian commitment of our kula, to help haumāna build a stronger relationship with Ke Akua.

Please visit the Akā Ke Akua portal to submit your prayer requests for you or someone you know.

  • Prayer Requests go to Kahu and the Prayer team.
  • It is your choice if you would like to put your name or not.
  • Please be pono and respect those who take this seriously
