Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.
Our elementary school will be participating in the Pink Out for Pauahi event on October 16.
This year marks the 140th anniversary of our beloved Ke Ali'i Pauahi's passing at the young age of 52 from breast cancer. In her memory, we invite our kula haʻahaʻa haumāna and ʻohana to participate in a "Pink Out for Pauahi" event!
Wear your pink attire to raise awareness for breast cancer and celebrate the legacy of Princess Pauahi. Together, we’ll honor her spirit and support the fight against this disease.
The flyer above and below provides the details of this event as well as a quick guide to acceptable and unacceptable attire for this day. Should you have any questions, please contact Kumu Nikki, niiwata@ksbe.edu or call the front office at 808-0200.
Please be sure to follow the appropriate dress guidelines.
