As they wrapped up the school year, upperclassmen from Papa Mālama Honua learned about sustainable practices and picked up trash and debris on Mokauea, a traditional fishing island within the Kapālama Ahupua‘a (between Sand Island and the Airport Reef Runway) as part of their semester-long project.
