5th grade haumāna worked hard to create and curate a digital art show to showcase what is important to them.

Papa ʻElima Art Showcase - "In Our Naʻau: On Our Minds"

May. 20, 2022

Over the final trimester of the school year, papa ʻelima haumāna worked to create and curate a spring digital art show.

Papa ʻelima artists practiced a creative process that includes personal opportunities to

  1. DEFINE AN INQUIRY. Collectively, we chose "In our Nāʻau: On Our Minds" - showcasing what our haumāna really care about and think about today. Then, our keiki artists
  2. ENVISION and IMAGINE how they individually respond to that inquiry. Next is time to
  3. PLAN personal artwork given a choice of media,
  4. move through the process to CREATE it and
  5. 5) REFLECT and IMPROVE as they go. Here we are to
  6. SHARE what we have done!
