Nov. 7, 2018

Contributed by Thomas Jones

KS haumāna in Mr. Jonesʻs tahitian drumming pākolea class performed for the first time in front of their peers accompanied by dancers Kumu Kulia and Kumu Palakiko from HS. Hoʻomaikaʻi to the drummers and dancers for a great first performance!

Mr. Jones wanted to mahalo Kumu Heimana of Tahiti for sharing his knowledge of Tahitian drumming through his website http://www.polynesian-art.com/ Without the notation and video resources this class would not be possible!

Mahalo to Kumu Siarot for videoing and editing!
