Jan. 10, 2017

Contributed by Lance Cagasan

In a collaborative agreement between Pukalani Superette and Kamehameha Schools Maui Hawaiian club, various labels were placed in the store that not only provides the hawaiian name for specific items, but also include a QR code so that customers can hear it properly pronounced.  Advisor to the club, Kumu Kehau Lucas will be taking several haumana to Canada this summer to present this project at the World Indigenous Peoples Conference  on Education.
