Kula Waena Students Excel At Physical Education From Home

April 15, 2020

Contributed by Dutch Tanaka-Akana

Kumu Sakuma was tasked with educating his haumāna in Physical Education from home. A challenge that had no obvious answers at first. Kumu Sakuma had an idea to get his kids moving, learning, and having fun while they do it. Instead of giving them one assigned sport to focus on. Kumu decided to engage his students by flipping the classroom and having haumāna show him how they keep in shape with sports and activities they enjoy.

Our haumāna came through with amazing photos and captions. Take a look at the photo gallery to see our haumāna’s submissions. Great job Kumu Sakuma on keeping our haumāna engaged and healthy.
