Kula Waena students, faculty and staff had a special screening of the movie Kuleana. Joining the students were director Brian Kohne and one of the actors Wayne “Vene” Chun. KSM MS students Kealani Warner and Kamakanikaiaulu Chong-Enos also had acting parts in the movie. After the movie, students were able to get their questions answered by the cast and director. Brian Kohne hopes that the movie will “inspire storytellers and perhaps to create a conversation about the many issues” raised in the film.
