Kula Kiʻekiʻe has put together two events this Fall for families to connect with our kauhale and learn more about the exciting things taking place for their keiki at Kamehameha Hawaʻi.
ʻOHANA NIGHTS
Join Kula Kiʻekiʻe for grade level ʻOhana Nights:
- Freshmen and Seniors will take place on 8/20
- Sophomores and Juniors will take place on 8/27
ʻOhana Nights are a great opportunity for ʻohana and haumāna to connect with their kumu.
Program for the evening:
- Dinner from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in Keawe Dining Hall
- Welcome and Opening Remarks from 5:30 - 5:45 p.m.
- Grade-Level Breakout Sessions from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m.
- Grade 9 in Keawe - Year preview, Mahahiki, Iwakālua project, Hōʻike, CCLR, overview of co-curricular activites.
- Grade 12 in Kekuʻiapoiwa - Senior year timeline of events and Senior capstone.
- Meet & Greet with Kumu from 6:45 - 7:15 p.m. in breakout session locations.
- Closing from 7:15 - 7:30 p.m.
ʻOHANA TAILGATE
Prior to the two football games that evening (JV vs. Keaʻau at 5 p.m.; Varsity vs. Honokaʻa at 7 p.m.), ʻohana are invited to join our kula kiʻekiʻe for a tailgate to enjoy some ʻono snacks before the festivities.
The event will take place in Keawe Dining Hall from 4 - 6 p.m.

The first ʻohana night for grades 9 and 12 will take place next Tuesday, August 20.
Grades 10 and 11 ʻohana will have their night on Tuesday, August 27.
