KSBE.edu gets new look

March 6, 2020

As the saying goes, there’s only one chance to make a first impression. With that in mind, the Communications Group is in the process of refreshing the tools used to visually represent the Kamehameha Schools brand. The objective is to ensure KS communications best reflect the core concept of “Hānai i ke keiki, ola ka lāhui.” Nurture the child and the lāhui thrives.

The Communications Group kicked off this effort by sharing an update to the visual elements used to communicate the brand, which can be found in the new KS Brand Center (available internally only). The next step in this process is the launch of a refreshed design of the KS website, www.ksbe.edu.

The new look is bold, bright, and welcoming with a clean, simple interface and intuitive navigation. Using extensive research and industry best practices, the site was designed to meet the needs of the variety of stakeholders who look for KS online. Whether they use a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer, online visitors will find a website that automatically formats itself to match their displays.

All the content from KS’ existing website can be found in the refreshed design. The design team used website traffic data to learn what information was most useful for frequent visitors. This  resulted in the new user-friendly layout.

Please explore the new site and familiarize yourself with the layout. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to contact Andreas Arvman at 523-6347 or anarvman@ksbe.edu.
