KS retail centers sponsor spooktacular Halloween happenings

Kamehameha Schools retail centers are sponsoring spooktacular Halloween happenings including costume contests, trick-or-treat stops and photo ops! Parents, keiki and pets are welcome.

WINDWARD MALL

WHEN:  Saturday, Oct. 30, 4:00-7:00 p.m.
WHERE: 46-056 Kamehameha Hwy, Kāneʻohe
WHAT: Wicked fun for everyone! Meet and take photos with villainous characters from Storybook Hawai‘i! Register for a check-in timeslot ticket to meet and take photos with six villains. The check-in table will be located at Center Court. Your registration ticket must be printed or presented on your phone at the time of check-in. Characters will be located on the first and second floors of the mall and will wear protective face masks, use hand sanitizer and maintain social distancing at all times. Keiki 12 years old and under who check-in dressed in costume will receive a FREE goodie bag of treats, while supplies last.


SALT AT OUR KAKA‘AKO

WHEN:  Sunday, Oct. 31, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
WHERE:  691 Auahi Street, Honolulu
WHAT:  Keiki, pets and parents are invited to come in costume for a fun and safe trick-or-treat experience. Dress up and get sweet treats from participating SALT tenants on Halloween. Look for the trick-or-treat signs in front of businesses. For even more fa-boo-lous fun, SALT is also holding a Halloween costume contest for keiki and pets visiting the center.

 

HALE‘IWA STORE LOTS

WHEN: Sunday, Oct. 31, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
WHERE: 66-111 Kamehameha Highway, Hale‘iwa
WHAT:  Hale‘iwa Store Lots is providing the community with two opportunities to celebrate the spooky season safely. On Halloween, bring your keiki to the center for an afternoon of safe trick-or-treating. Participating merchants will have signs in front and will pass out candy, while supplies last. Leading up to and through Halloween night, keiki are also invited to enter Hale‘iwa Store Lots’ online costume contest.


KŪ‘ONO MARKETPLACE AT KĀHALA

WHEN: Now through Wednesday, October 27
WHERE:  4204-4218 Wai‘alae Ave, Honolulu
WHAT:  The retail center will feature a Halloween gift bag giveaway! Follow @kuonomarkerplace on Instagram for details. Two mini treat baskets ($50 retail value each) and one grand prize mega treat basket ($100 value) will be awarded. Winners will be selected at random from eligible entries received via Instagram during the contest period.

KEAUHOU SHOPPING CENTER

WHEN: Now through Friday, October 29, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
WHERE:  78-6831 Ali‘i Drive, Kailua-Kona
WHAT: The shopping center will feature Candy Crawl To-Go with free trick-or-treat goodie bags for keiki. Registration is required. Parents must register their children on Eventbrite, one ticket per child. Parents and keiki must present their ticket at the time selected for goodie bag pick-up. While supplies last. Register via Eventbrite here.

The health and safety of customers, employees and community members are a top priority for KS retail centers. All Halloween visitors are required to wear CDC-recommended face coverings, avoid entering businesses if they do not feel well, and maintain a six-foot distance from other shoppers.
