KS Maui Campus, Maui regional office closed Oct. 24, will reopen Wednesday

UPDATE (4:30 p.m.): Power has been restored to the KS Maui campus, and school will resume Wednesday. The KS Maui regional office in Wailuku will also reopen Wednesday after power was restored.

UPDATE (5:35 p.m.): ʻAʻapueo and Paukūkalo preschools will also reopen on Wednesday.

Additionally today, due to weather and safety ALL KS Hawaiʻi after-school student activities have been CANCELLED. The campus remains open but all are encouraged to vacate the property sooner than later following the school/work day.

Kamehameha Schools announced today the closure of its Maui campus due to power outages caused by heavy rains. As a result, both ʻAʻapueo and Paukūkalo preschools are also closed today.

Campus leadership is currently monitoring the situation for when power is restored. As of 10 a.m., there is no damage to campus, just ponding water.

Weather and power outages have also forced the closure of the KS Maui regional office in Wailuku.

This message will be posted to our Kameahemeha Schools channels and weʻll update once power is restored.
