Kamehameha Schools’ Commercial Real Estate Division’s Kaka‘ako Development Team was honored for its planning and execution of the “Kaiāulu ‘o Kaka‘ako Master Plan” as part of the International Real Estate Federation USA 2018 Awards Program. The project was recognized by industry peers, including realtors, developers, design professionals and government officials.

The award was presented as part of a celebratory event at Wai‘alae Country Club late last year, and was also used as a model during a collaborative “Habitat Day” organized by the United Nations.
