Lehua Kamalu, a 2004 KS Kapālama graduate, has been selected to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Director’s Fellows program. The program links creators, advocates, artists, scientists and educators to form perspectives, ideas and knowledge. The apprentice navigator and voyaging director at Polynesian Voyaging Society contributed to the sailing plan for Hōkūleʻa throughout the Mālama Honua worldwide voyage.
