Community Investment collaborators gathered this week with KS East Hawai‘i Regional Director Kilohana Hirano and other KS staffers to share their experiences with each other and potentially join forces to build capacity for future community ventures for the benefit of the Hawaiian people and culture.
Organizations represented at the event included Hui Ho‘oleimaluo, Edith Kanaka‘ole Foundation, Kohala Institute, the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island, Kama‘aha Education Initiative, Hawai‘i Community College, and the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo Pacific Internship Programs for Exploring Science.
