KS Alumni honored at PBN's 2026 Women Who Mean Business in Hawai'i

Four distinguished Kamehameha Schools Alumni were recognized as Pacific Business News’ "Women Who Mean Business" honorees, an acknowledgment that celebrates outstanding leadership, professional excellence, and community impact across Hawaiʻi.

KS Trustee Crystal Rose KSK’75, founding partner at Lung Rose Voss & Wagnild; Lindsay Ah Loo KSK’00, executive director of The Nākupuna Foundation; Charmaine Hauanio-Kuewa KSK’85, director of development for The Salvation Army Hawaiian & Pacific Islands Division; and Makana Reilly KSK’01, advancement and communications director at Hawaiian Community Assets were honored at an awards ceremony on March 12 at The Royal Hawaiian, a Luxury Collection Resort, Waikīkī. 

Each exemplifies the values instilled during their time at Kamehameha, carrying forward a deep commitment to excellence, innovation, and uplifting their communities. Through their respective careers, they have demonstrated not only professional achievement but also a dedication to creating meaningful change beyond the workplace.

Rose’s accomplishments earned her the program’s highest distinction as PBN’s 2026 Career Achievement Honoree. This recognition reflects her exceptional leadership and mentorship, visionary approach, and lasting contributions to both the legal profession and the broader community. Her work continues to inspire future generations of leaders in Hawaiʻi.

Ah Loo has made a powerful impact through her professional and community efforts. Her nomination recognizes her leadership excellence and steadfast commitment to strengthening communities through education, STEM initiatives, and ʻāina-based stewardship. She continues to advance a vision that invests in long-term strategies to uplift the Native Hawaiian community and foster lasting cultural and economic resilience.

Hauanio-Kuewa has advanced critical social services across the Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division through her leadership with The Salvation Army. Her work demonstrates a steadfast commitment to supporting vulnerable populations, while fostering resilience and hope within the communities she serves.

Reilly has played a pivotal role in elevating organizational visibility and driving major fundraising initiatives that support the communities served by Hawaiian Community Assets. Through her efforts, individuals and families have been empowered to build financial stability and achieve long-term economic well-being.

Together, these inspirational 'ōiwi leaders represent the excellence and purpose-driven leadership that define Kamehameha Schools Alumni, serving as role models for aspiring leaders across Hawai'i and beyond.
