Kid-friendly and ʻāina focused: Plant month events near you

April 2, 2025

Native plants make up more than just Hawaiʻi’s iconic landscape. They are the foundation of our identity, resilient communities and a thriving future.

At Ke Kula ʻo Kamehameha, we celebrate the deep connection between kānaka and ʻāina every day as stewards of Ke Ali‘i Pauahi’s lands. Our kuleana to mālama ʻāina is rooted in ʻike kūpuna and sustainable practices that bring perpetual abundance for the betterment of our lāhui.

This Native Hawaiian Plant Month, don’t just admire the islands’ flora – grow them! Whether it’s planting seedlings, learning from cultural experts or exploring the places that have sustained our people for generations, every event is a chance to deepen your connection to ʻāina and yourself. Show up, dig in and be a part of the movement to mālama ʻāina!
