Hawaiʻi’s public relations and communications industry came together on August 22, 2024 at the Prince Waikiki for the 41st Annual Koa Anvil Awards. This prestigious event, hosted by the Hawai‘i chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, celebrated the best in public relations and communications from the past year.
With 104 entries submitted and 66 awards presented, the competition was fierce and the recognition well-deserved. The awards were evaluated by the PRSA Hoosier Chapter.
Kamehameha Schools proudly stood out in this year’s ceremony, with several accolades honoring our retail properties on ʻĀina Pauahi. Our efforts were recognized in various categories, showcasing the excellence and impact of our public relations campaigns:

Established in 1983, the Koa Anvil Awards honor the pillars of excellence in public relations: research, planning, execution, and evaluation. They serve as a testament to the creativity and effectiveness that drive successful public relations campaigns and tools.
