Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.
Charles Reed Bishop Learning Center librarian Mrs. Ramona Ho is retiring this year after 40 years of teaching.

Ramona Ho, high school librarian at Kamehameha Schools Maui, is retiring after 40 years of teaching students.
Ka Leo o Nā Koa staff writers put together a feature article to recognize her and the impact she's had on students after 40 years in education.
Ho has served as the high school librarian at KS Maui since 2003. In her retirement, she will be spending more time with her family and continuing her work with the Maui Nisei Veterans Memorial Center.
