As an athlete looking to compete at the collegiate level, KS Maui senior Logan Spencer organized a panel discussion called “I Mua Maui” at the campus on August 8 for Valley Isle student-athletes. Former Olympians Lauren Spalding (paddling) and Kellie Suttle (pole vault) joined former professional beach volleyball player Pono Ma‘a and former Lahainaluna and Gonzaga women’s basketball player Maiki Tihada to provide insight into what it takes to be successful.
