Ho'olaule'a at KS Hawai'i and Kapālama this Saturday

Hoʻolauleʻa festivities at both Kamehameha Schools Kapālama and Hawaiʻi campuses will take place this Saturday, Feb. 24. The free events will feature fun for the whole family, including entertainment, ʻono food and games for the keiki.

KS Kapālama’s Hoʻolauleʻa is coordinated by the Association of Teachers and Parents and the Sophomore Class of 2020 and will be the campusʻ 93rd annual event. This yearʻs theme is “Ua Kupu A Lau Ke Aloha – Inspired and Nourished by Love” and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Konia Field.

KS Hawaiʻi’s Hoʻolauleʻa is coordinated by the Parents and Teachers ʻOhana and the theme for this yearʻs event is “Nānā I Ke Kumu – Look to the Source”. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout kula haʻahaʻa.

In case you are wondering, KS Mauiʻs Hoʻolauleʻa is scheduled for April 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the Hoʻolauleʻa events benefit post-high scholarships and extra-curricular opportunities for KS students.
