Student leaders kicked off the Aloha Giving Campaign at the High School club fair, sharing details of how it would work.

High School's Aloha Giving Campaign for 2024 underway

Oct. 7, 2024

Our high school Associated Students of Kamehameha Schools (ASKS) kicked off its Aloha Giving campaign whereby students can purchase a dress-up wristband for Halloween and Winter Week by donating $3 or 3 cans of food (early special through Friday 10/25), which will be donated to the KSH Hōkū Welowelo Scholarship fund through the Pauahi Foundation and the Hawaiʻi Island Food Basket. From 10/28 through 12/6, the dress-up wristband will cost $5.

Aloha Giving is inspired by the generosity and compassion of our founder, Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop.

Mahalo to all of the participants in Week 1 of the campaign, raising $87 and 17 lbs. of canned goods so far! Students can purchase their wristbands at designated times from now through December. Visit the Student Life classroom for more details.

Students should also pay attention to dress guidelines when participating in dress-up days.
