Eia ke mele ʻo E Hoʻokanaka na kaʻu papa Advanced Colloquial Hawaiian recognizing our Kamehameha Hawaiʻi Kula Kiʻekiʻe theme of the year: Hoʻokanaka.
This mele is dedicated to our high school haumāna & kumu as we advance into a new quarter.
Haku ʻia na senior Malulani Scanlan & kumu Kalehua Simeona, no nā haumāna, kumu & Poʻokumu ma ke kula kiʻekiʻe ʻo Kamehameha ma Hawaiʻi. Along with Malulani, junior Kaiulu Tiogangco sings on the mele and put together this video.
"Take the time to hear the message that should guide you through these challenging times," shares Kumu Lehua.
"As per the hui of the mele performed here – heed the message from our haumāna and kumu."
