Global Connections Club is running a special fundraiser to subsidize expenses from their Global Summit trips in 2019.

Global Connections Club fundraiser

Dec. 10, 2018

Contributed by Shaundor Chillingworth

Aloha nui kākou! Kamehameha Hawai‘i Kula Waena students have been selected as ambassadors to represent the State of Hawai‘i as well as the United States at the Ritsumeikan Global Summit in Kyoto, Japan in February of 2019, and Norwood Morialta Global Summit in Adelaide, Australia in March 2019.

These programs seek to unify students from different countries to work collaboratively and cooperatively in an effort to increase cultural awareness and to develop compassion for ethnic diversity.

In order to help subsidize expenses for travel, our students are offering a very special imprinted 22oz. Hydro and an 48X54 “Imua Kamehameha” blanket. Reserve today by submitting a pre-order as quantities are otherwise limited.

Please make check payable to: Kamehameha Schools.

Please return order forms to the student activities coordinators in each division: Nikki Iwata (Elem), Sonya Ah Chong (MS), Jodie Kimura (HS). Deadline to order: Friday, December 14, 2018 (please note items will not be available before Christmas, but still a great gift for yourself or others later in the year). Contact Sonya Ah Chong (soahchon@ksbe.edu) with any questions.
