Kamehameha Hawaiʻi has produced a pre-recorded Founder's Day program to honor and celebrate Pauahi Lani Nui as we near the 190th anniversary of her birthday. The video will premiere on Friday, December 17 as our kula comes together in smaller celebrations throughout our campus, to take a moment as we do each year, to say mahalo.

Premieres at 9 a.m. on the Kamehameha Schools YouTube channel

During these past two years, we have learned to adapt our learning environments and celebrate our traditions in new ways, and in doing so, we have done our best to keep our families, our schools and our communities healthy and safe.

Mahalo nui for all of your support and commitment to safeguarding the health and well-being of those around you. But one thing that remains unchanged is our gratitude for our Founder. And at this special time, while it looks a little different again this year, know that we’re still joined together in aloha for our beloved Princess. Whether watching on your own or in the company of others, we hope that you enjoy the mele and manaʻo that makes this day one of our most special Kamehameha traditions.

Mahalo Pauahi!
